　　温莎大学是加拿大最南端的公立大学, 有着加拿大最温和的气候。位于加拿大安大略省温莎市的温莎大学，早从1857年大学就开始了对高质量高等教育的求索。

　　温莎大学坐落在美加边境的五大湖区，北美洲的工业心脏。温莎市交通便利，人口20万，是加国旅游及工业重镇，戴姆拉-克莱斯勒公司加国总部即在此，纬度与北京相同，冬季平均摄氏零下5度左右，夏季摄氏28度左右，气候宜人，环境整洁，绿草如茵，距离安大略首府多伦多市约4小时车程，而到离隔河相望的北美洲汽车城底特律则只需5分钟车程。

　　As an international community, the University of Windsor has a proud heritage of attracting students from all over the world and assisting them in adjusting to University life and Canadian culture. Over 1,500 students from over 80 countries now call Windsor their home, and they contribute significantly to the vibrancy of our dynamic campus.

　　With the success of international student recruitment comes the need for increased resources to provide quality services to students upon arrival and throughout their course of study.

　　The University of Windsor‘s unique “Soft-Landing” arrival program, “W.I.S.E.” employment program, and “V.I.S.A” volunteer program (please see our website for details), are a few International Student Centre (ISC) initiatives that have gained national recognition, yet remain under-funded. International students are also ineligible for many of the available scholarships and bursaries because of residency requirement, therefore implementing both entrance and in-course scholarships specifically designed for international students is a top priority of the ISC.
